You can go ahead and start applauding again now, maybe even a standing ovation would do.

The Slacker Diaries Part 1

Nope. It's not the Princess diaries or the Barbie diaries. Not even the Pink Hater/Blue Lover Diaries. It is the diaries of a slacker, and today is number 1.

My last post was about my birthday. (And to those of you who don't know me and are randomly stalking my blog, my birthday is in August, not October.) (You can start singing if you want, [Happy happy birthday Kate dear, happy days will come to you all year...] but I would suggest against it considering probably nobody would hear you singing, and even if they did, I wouldn't hear you and I would be the person who you were singing to. So don't sing.) I can come up with all the excuses I want, for example-

I have school and homework and so I have been way to busy to even consider posting
What am I supposed to post about? (For the record, you can e-mail me ideas at katethegreat7@gmail.com. Which is very much appreciated and strongly encouraged.)
My life is not made to entertain you people!!!
I could list a couple other names of slacker bloggers (*hint* *hint* Chloe)

Anyways, back in August I had my birthday party. We had an outdoor movie (Despicable Me) in my backyard and minion cupcakes! (made by Erin and my mom) It was a super fun party and it was fun to hang out with all my friends. I would also like to thank my mom's friend Janice, for kindly lending us her projector thingamajig. Oh, and the reason I'm not writing that much is because I posted a lot of pictures. And the pictures explain everything.

Is it wrong to sing to myself? Oh well. Anyways, my birthday was on August 16th, (as it is every year) but I was unable to write then. So, August 16th I slept in, woke up, and walked downstairs to find my birthday breakfast. Chocolate chip pancakes with syrup, jam, and nutella, just not on the same pancake! A strawberry smoothie made by Emily. And other good things, I just don't remember them all. For lunch we had clean the fridge so we wouldn't have ALL special meals. For dinner there was hamburgers, barbecue lays chips, watermelon, top ramen noodle salad, and root beer. Menu picked out by Kate! For dessert we had a chocolate cake with cookies and cream ice cream between the layers and hot fudge sauce dripped down the side! YUM!

I got a water balloon launcher, duct tape, (yes, I wanted duct tape for my birthday) a myth busters kit thing, "Last Word" a game, a T-shirt, a DQ gift card, and I think that was it. (Sorry if I missed something.) Over all, my birthday was super fun and turned out great!

Sure, it's already the tenth of July, but why not celebrate now? For the fourth of July I was at the Oregon Coast. On Thursday we had a couple fireworks on the beach and then we lit steel wool on fire, which when you twirl around, it makes really cool pictures. We also hiked up Neahakanie Mt., hiked to Oswald beach to see the tide pools, (where we found lots of things for the photographer (Erin) to take pictures of. Like a starfish with eight legs or whatever and a crab.) drove to Cannon Beach, had a fire, and we did a LOT of other things. But I don't want to bore you with the details. Also, my uncle Jeff and aunt Jenny came down for the week. HARRY POTTER MARATHON!!! Anyways, I hope you had as great of a week as I did!!

So, a couple of weeks ago, we started talking about Iphones. Of course not for me, because I have to be the youngest. Last week my dad came home with an IPhone for my mom, my dad, Erin, and (SURPRISE!) Emily. But Emily's was a step lower. SOOOOOOOOOO, why do I care about the rest of my family (except for Allison) getting Iphones??? I care because Emily and Erin both have Itouches. And now they both have Iphones, so THAT leads to TWO ownerless Itouches, and TWO Itouchless people. And less than 15 minutes later I was jumping up and down and waking up the neighbors (And the people in China!) with my joyfull screams of- OH MY GOSH! I JUST GOT EMILY'S IPOD!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!! OM MY!! I JUST GOT AN ITOUCH!!!! WWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! That day automatically went into my top 20 - BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE!!! I know- that sounds pitiful. But I haven't gotten married, had kids, etc. Sooooooooooooooooo, TOP 20 BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE!!!!

Chicken Pox

I had the chicken pox, a couple of weeks ago, and by school policy, I had to stay home for a solid WEEK! My Specialties project (see SPAIN! post) was coming up like that month, or next month or something, and since I missed that much school , it was very hard to catch up. The story is this- I get this thing from school that has all the vaccinations I need for middle school on it and it says I need the chicken pox vaccine and the Boosters shot. My mom checks my little record thing from the doctor (with all the shots I've had, medical info, doctor-y stuff....) and finds out that I actually do need the Chicken Pox vaccine. Which is weird because all my sisters have had the vaccine. Long story short, the next day I was covered in spots. Did anybody have sympathy for me? Well, my mom and dad. What about my sisters? Emily was mad because I got to stay home from school for a week and she said I wasn't sick! (HELLO! COVERED IN SPOTS!!) Allison, well, sort of. Erin- HA! She called me pollo and poxy. In Spanish, Pollo means CHICKEN! HA! No sympathy there. That was the OUTLINE of my week with the Chicken Pox!

Erin,my mom, and Emily got back from Spain, like.... a month ago. But, I have had many things going on, that pretty much means- I was lazy or I had a lot of homework. I am doing a big project in school, it's called Specialties, and all the fifth-graders do it, it's like a report. But it's for like, five solid months of the school year, huge! Anyways, I am doing my Specialties project on Spain, and when Erin got back from Spain, she brought me back a bunch of things for my project. It was very fun for Erin to go to Spain, I'm sure! But it was wonderful to have my sister back , and be the four Blatter sisters again, on the same continent!

SEATTLE!!!! Day 1!

So, for one of the fifth-grade field trips, we go to Seattle, Washington. And last Thursday, we left for Seattle!! We took a Charter bus to The Pacific Science Center where we dropped our stuff off, looked around, went to a bunch of exhibits, bought stuff at the Gift Shop, and all that stuff. At the gift shop I got two long blue pencils that say Pacific Science Center or something like that, (One was for Erin because when she went on the same trip, she got one of those pencils and my mom accidentally broke it.) another shorter pencil that had a pretty, blue butterfly on it, a postcard with the same picture of the butterfly on it, and a switch pitch, which is like a ball that you toss up in the air and it switches to a different color, that was purple and green, because they had TERRIBLE colors for those. Dinner was a turkey sandwich from Quiznos, chips, a Capri Sun, and a Rice Krispie treat. After that we looked around a little more, and chose our sleeping spots. I slept by my friend Chloe, (Muffin Mania/Curly Cheetah) Meghan, Ryan, Carley, Annie, Natalie and I think that was it. I know you probably have no idea who they all are, but I slept by then , by the Shadow Room. And that was Day 1!

Hopefully these will taste better than they look!!

Well, as you might or might not know, my Grandparents went over to see my aunt Heather (I don't know if I'm supposed to capitalize aunt or not) and stopped to get a potter's wheel on the way. We already got a FREE kiln and so all we needed was a place to begin our work as potters!! So, last Friday and a LITTLE bit of Saturday, we painted the playhouse, and it turned into "The Mud Hut!!"

But, while we were painting, Emily invited over (the one and only!!-ish) Sarah Merrill. And she invited Hailey McAllister, who invited Alexa Landon. (All friends of Emily) And so THREE of Emily's friends came over and two of them helped us paint.

AND, I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION- while I was making (frozen) pizza, I was taking one of them out of the oven, I accidentally bumped my hand on the plate, pizza pan, thingy, and I burned myself. I would just like to add that little part in.

This is an example of what great friends my sister Allison has!!!-

We were invited to hike Badger Mountain with Kenedy and Hallie Carey, (thank you to them!!) I wanted to go on one of the paths and the other girls wanted to go on the other. We split up and I beat them by about a day in Kate's time, (maybe ten minutes in HUMAN time). But anyways, I waited for them for about a day/ten minutes, and then we headed down MY way, and I beat them by about four hours/three minutes. I RAN almost the whole way down, and when Allison TRIED (notice the word tried in all CAPS) to run down, she slipped and scraped her hand, (now she uses that and she's practically not TOUCHING anything because she says it hurts too much.) My time was 56 minutes and the rest of the crowd (three girls) had a time of 58 minutes. But that is only because I had to wait for them at the top. We didn't bring our camera, so we don't have any pictures, but we might be able to get those soon.

On President's day this year, I did something very crazy that you are never supposed to do when you have a day off- hike...up...a mountain!!! It's crazy I know!!! My mom, Allison and I hiked up Badger Mountain and the came running down!! I was wearing my Bomber sweatshirt and EMILY'S sweatpants (so they were very big!!) and I kinda look like a gray monster. BUT I WAS HIKING UP A MOUNTAIN, NOBODY CARES WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE!!! It was very fun, (and windy and cold!!) but VERY TIRING!!!

It is already the 2nd month of 2011 and so much is happening!! I don't mean to share other people's news, but I have none of my own in January. Heather has had her babies and as far as I know they are healthy, but still need to grow more. Jenn and Jeff got a new puppy named Fiona (ADORABLE!!!!!) and I am very jealous!!! Holly and Ben are going to Costa Rica, which I am sad that I can't go but am excited that they get to go and also that we get to pet-sit LULU!!!! Please correct me if I got anything wrong or if I forgot anything. HAPPY FEBRUARY!!!!

On Saturday, (1-23-11) my mom, Allison, and I went GOODWILLING!!! Emily was at work so she had to miss it. We went shopping for Trek stuff for Allison and Emily, and we also found some corduroy, a dress and belt for me, a jacket for Allison, another belt for me and some other miscellaneous things. But the highlight of my day was two things- a Coca Cola belt, and a Pug shirt!!

First of all, I got a Coca Cola belt made out of Coca Cola caps. It has a seat belt buckle for a buckle and the caps are in all different languages. IT'S AWESOME!!!

My Pug shirt has a Pug on the front, and below it says-"HUG A PUG!" I have pictures but it is a little dirty since I have been wearing it a lot.

Well, not really. I HAD a loose tooth, now I have a gap. Before school started, I went to the dentist and he said that I was having a big break from losing teeth and that I would start to lose teeth again in a year or two. Well let's just say.... he was wrong. I got a loose tooth a few days after New Years and it just came out last week. Here is the story- My tooth was super loose and I was sitting on the couch watching American Idol. I pushed my tooth back and I could almost HEAR THE ROOTS BREAKING APART!!! I ran to the bathroom and looked in the mirror, I started to slowly push my tooth back, but not any farther than it would already go. Then it just fell into my mouth. The first night, THE TOOTH FAIRY FORGOT TO LEAVE ME A DOLLAR!!!! (Hint, hint) And then the next night the tooth fairy gave me TWO dollars, since she forgot the night before.

As always, New Years is not the most exciting holiday of the year, but it is a lot of fun!!! We had all the family over and had a traditional finger-food dinner!! We watched two movies- First, we watched Sorcerer's Apprentice, which I had already seen in the movie theater but the other girls hadn't. Then Grandma said she couldn't make it all the way to midnight and she drove home with my Grandpa and my uncle Will. Then after that exciting, magical adventure, we watched a more emotional movie-The Blind Side. It was good, but not the best. My mom made it almost to the end of The Blind Side, but she said she had already seen it and she had already made it past midnight. She was right, but my dad, Erin, Emily, Allison, and I made it all the way to midnight AND to the end of the Blind Side!!! And of course, as Blatter tradition, we made HATS!!!

I know, I know, Christmas is long gone. And I have still not posted about it. I have no excuses. So anyways, - Christmas, as you know, we had Boozer, (see BOOZER! post) we had the family over and we opened presents and had a great time. We played a passing game where my Grandma read about the Wright family, and we would either pass it left or right, then we would open the present that we had at the end. My teacher, Mrs. Fayer, taught my whole class how to make these little origami boxes. I am getting pretty good at it and have taught two of my sisters and my mom already!!! I have had some pretty good ideas to do with the boxes and thought I'd show you!! I've made them out of map pages, wrapping paper, and Christmas paper!! I have also made them into ornaments!!

It snowed!! It snowed!! It snowed!! At least in Richland it snowed!! It started snowing Sunday night and has been snowing most of the day Monday!! It has been piling up but it's still light and fluffy, not very good for making a snowman. I don't no if it works on every computer, ( Macs rule!!!!) but it might!! So first, you highlight something, then you right click over the highlighted part,scroll over speech, and go to "start talking!" A robotic-y voice will start saying what you highlighted!!! Halloween 2010, as you may know, was on a Sunday. So, instead of telling you about Halloween, I will tell you about the Saturday before Halloween. So, the story is this- My mom went to a meeting with all the Willowbrook Community Club Members, and they asked her if she would host the hot dog feed. She said yes, but only if it was on Saturday. And Holly and LuLu came down!! Lulu brought her costumes,I was a caveman with my friend Chloe, and we made LuLu a cave-dog costume!!!! Chloe and I carried the banner at the front of the parade after the fire trucks,leading the way, and then we went to the hot dog feed. After that, we went to the church carnival and trunk-or-treat!! It wasn't the best Halloween, since we didn't get to go trick-or-treating, but it was still an amazing Halloween!!!!

Extreme twister!

Emilyand Sarah are doing all the crazy things in their prom dresses, as you already know! They've done, boating, desert, Sarah's truck pictures, and adding to that list,a while ago they played extreme twister. Let me explain that, they played twister with mud being thrown at them, silly string being sprayed, and buckets and buckets of water, then flour. In the end they were covered (EVERYWHERE) with flour, silly string, mud, plus they were soaking wet! I, (Kate Jay Blatter) was in charge of the silly string (about 20 Containers) and flinging the mud!! At the end, all the containers of silly string were empty and we barely had any mud left! Sarah and Emily got sprayed with the freezing cold hose water at the end and then they got to take showers. That was a while ago and their dresses are still hanging on the hooks in our garage and they really stink!!

Last Friday, my day started out with waking up at 8:30, (tragic,I know) and going to Richland High School and picking up stuff from my summer pottery class. Then, my mom dropped me off at my friend Rae's birthday party. It was super fun, there was an opstacle course,nail polish station, face painting,airplane-making station, and sno-cones. We had pizza bagels and ice cream sundaes! I got her a frosting gun and cool cupcake liners because she wants to be a cook. After the party, my grandma took me out to see Ramona, it was great, and a lot of fun! And that, was my Friday!!!!

Sorcerer's Apprentice was a very very good movie. It was kind of a mix between ghostbusters and Dresdain Files (my mom said the Dresdain Files part)! It had magic and dungeons. It was kind of modern at times, but then it got midevil! There were fights between good and evil. It's great for the whole family!!!!

The last week of school we had 4&5 grade field!! It was exciting!!!! We had all different kinds of games, and we got colored bandanas and names to go with your color. I was with my friends and we were the dark blue devils!! By the way I didn't come up with the name!! There was also a resting spot here you could get your face painted or get a tattoo!!! I got dark blue glasses because it sounded cool at the time. But we had a bunch of water games so at the end I had to get a re-painting!! It still rocked though!!!!!!!

Just to clear a few things up-I AM THE PLAID QUEEN!!!!! I have about 6 pairs of plaid shorts, a pair of plaid shoes and a plaid jacket!!!!! For family home evening one night we had a fun experiment!! That's right, you guessed it, MENTOS AND ROOT BEAR!!!! It was awesome and amazing, and most of all fun!! We had different caps so it shot up in different directions. They all had names and one of them was run-away! We were all confused, but we soon relised it was directions for us to RUN-AWAY!!! It sprayed everywhere! I didn't get any pictures though! It also didn't help that I accidentally pulled it so we didn't have a warning!! It was super fun!!

My Mom!!

I love my mom enough to walk to the moon for her. She is the best! I love her so much! She takes care of me and my sisters, she cooks dinner practically every night and she takes my sisters and me on trips. When we're sick, my mom stays home and takes care of us. She gets us apple juice and jolly ranchers and makes chicken noodle soup. And when we're at school, she goes shopping instead of relaxing while it's quiet. She cleans the house and patiently waits for us. Then, when we come, we get the whole house all dirty again, messing up all her hard work.

My mom cooks dinner every night for my whole family. Even when she is tired or she feels like she might start getting a little sick, she makes a full meal, instead of making us cook our own food. When she is tired and NEEDS a nap, she struggles to keep her eyes open, so she can get up and slowly goes to the kitchen. She is the best cook ever and cooks 5-star food! It's like a party on your tongue when my mom cooks!! It's amazing!! Magnificent!!!

My mom takes my sisters and me on trips with her as much as she can. Sometimes, she takes us on trips, just for us, to a fun place we want to go. Before the drive, she packs the lunch so we have good stuff to eat while driving. Now you know why I love my mom and why she is the best. These are just a few of the MILLIONS of reasons I could tell you that explain why my mom is special!!

For teacher appreciation week at school, I made Mrs. Gosselin cupcakes. They looked like apples! We took half a donut and frosted it on with red frosting. After that, we sprinkled on red sprinkles to make them look shiny. Then, we cut up a piece of a green airhead and made it look like a leaf! Finally, we rolled a tootsie roll into a thin piece and made that the stem!!! We put them in a basket so they looked like real apples and we gave them to my teacher. She LOVED them!!!!! She took them around to all the teachers and showed her neighbors, and bragged a lot about the cupcakes I made her!! I was proud of my cupcakes!!!!

At my school, we have crazy hair about every year. This year, I got a WICKED idea! I decided to do two pony-tails, on both sides of my head. Then, use the spray dye and dye half my head blue, and half my head green. So, I went to the store with my dad and he bought the dye. My sister,(Erin) did the pony-tails and the dye!! I think she did a GREAT job!!! Now, I will share it with you!!!

Spring Break!!

I'm sorry I haven't posted for a looooooooooong time. Anyways, spring break came and we went to the beach. We drove over on Saturday and mostly unpacked. I had the closet with the cot, of course. On sunday we went to church (half an hour away) and then watched The Amazing Race at 8:00.

Sunday night there was a huge storm. On Monday, we drove to Cannon Beach to go shopping. The power was out because the strong winds on Sunday had blown over a powerline. When we went to get pizza we found out that there was no pizza because the oven didn't work. It was horrible!!!!! No pizza!!!! We walked over to Bruce's Candy Kitchen and got a bunch of candy.

My aunt came over on Tuesday and wanted to go to Cannon Beach, so we went there again and got our pizza. It was amazing!!!!!! Terrific!!!!! Delicous!!!!!! She brought her pug, Lulu. Lulu is a funny dog!!!! She's so cute.

Me and Allison felt like going in the water on Wendsday so we went to the beach and brought the two boogie boards and the skimboard. We were called crazy a lot but we weren't crazy, they were just wimps. It was freezing cold and after we came out we were numb everywhere and had dozens of bruises.

We went to see How to Train your Dragon the next day and it was super good!! After that we went to the arcade. I got a ton of cany when I turned in my tickets. The girls waited in the car and my mom and I went to The Buzz (A candy store) to get even more candy.

On Friday we packed up and left. : (

New years wasn't as much as a blast as new years eve was but it was cool. Technically, we didn't really celabrate at all. It was just like a farewell day to 2009. It felt good saying good-bye even though it was a very good year. This year I am going to go into double digits. 10!!! I am so excited!!! Erin is going home in April, so I at least have a lot of time with her!! Emily will be turning 16 on June 24th and soon will get her license, which is going to be very exciting!!! Allison is in 8th grade and is almost a freshman in High School!!! 2010 is going to be a great year!!!!

New years eve was an exciting event. My family celabrated more at the end of the day. We ate a hand-food dinner and chatted fo a while. We played a short game of intense scattergories Then, we watched the Pink Panter 2. I thought it was a very good movie. After that, was my favorite part of new years eve: HATS!!!! We made our weird, funky, crazy, oddly-shaped hats and took pictures with them. Papa Lou had a 2 on his hat, my mom was a lame-o and formed a 0 shape with her hands, I had a super tall 1 on my hat, and Allison was a party-pooper and ALSO formed a 0 shape with her hands. So in the pictures it was 2010!!! After pictures were taken and hats were set on Abby so she could get her own pictures we started watching Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.I am not a big Harry Potter fan so I started to fall asleep SEVERAL times but woke myself up all the times. I had a great New Years eve!!!!!!!

Christmas has come and gone again. I have had a wonderful Christmas! First of all, Erin and Emily won the Christmas competition.(See post below for more details.) I woke up at 12:45.(AM) Then, I woke up Allison and told her that Emily and Erin were already awake. We went downstairs prepared for it to be rubbed in our faces that we lost the competition. We opened our stockings and I got a harmonica. It's really cool, but I can't really play anything yet. After that, we organized the presents and took naps until it was 8:00, time to wake my mom and dad. We waited for Granny Annie(my grandma), Papa Lapa Ding Dong(my Grandpa) and Will(my uncle) before we opened presents. My favorite present I got was a wii game that's kinda like a skateboard without wheels. You can go through courses and do cool tricks and flips and high jumps. My second favorite present is from Erin, it was a box full of ALMOST everything on my super long Christmas list. The other present from Erin is a Settlers of Catan extension for the normal board game. Another one of my aunts (Holly) and another one of my uncles (Ben) came to visit two days after Christmas because they were working night shifts and got a big bonus for working nights, or something like that. I had a great Christmas and CAN NOT wait until next year!!!!!!!

The day starts out normal. We eat breakfast, lay around the house like slugs, watch TV like couch-potatoes and do nothing all day. Then we go over to my grandma and grandpa's house to open our pajamas and try them on. We have Christmas Eve dinner and pop some Christmas crackers filled with a paper hat, a joke, and some kind of weird nick-nack. I got a green hat, red hat, eye patch, yoyo, and two lame jokes that didn't make sense. When we left we went to a lawn care place that had a SUPER detailed light system. They had the lights blinking and flashing to the songs on a radio station. We stayed there for almost an hour but then we needed to get home so that we could hold our tradition/contest. The girls (Erin,Emily,Allison, and Kate) always team up so it's two against two. This year it was Erin and Emily v.s Allison and Kate. The first team awake wins. Rules-

No alarms.
No waking up mom and dad until 8:00.
No drugging the other team.
You have to sleep.

Good thing it's a two-hour delay. I woke up an hour late, I'm rushing around the house panicking, I see Emily and Allison in the kitchen, now I'm just plain old confused. I check the weather channel, across the bottom of the screen I see: Richland School District-two hour delay. I stop panicking and blame myself for waking up. I fall asleep and wake up forty-five minutes later. I'm going to need the extra time to comb my hair.

On the 25 of November, Nolan Drew Reynolds(my friend's baby brother) was born. HE IS SOOOO CUTE!!! The K.R.C.K made a baby blanket that had lots of baseball fabric, a fabric with blue, some yellow,and red. The back has a super soft fabric.(That's dark blue.) We had a "K.R.C.K meeting" at Rae's house.(So thet we could give the bag to her.) She opened it and we took lots of pictures.

For family home evening one night my family decorated the Christmas tree and then ate donuts and hot chocolate. It was a blast! We hung up ordaments and took lots of pictures. We had balls and gift ordaments from past years and fancy frames with pictures. Our tree looked very full and well-decorated. Afterwards, the donuts and hot chocolate really hit the spot! Finally, it was time for bed, after a long day of school, decorating the tree and eating some chocolate covered donut goodness!!

Me and two other friends are in the school choir together. We have a club called the K.R.C.K. It stands for the Kate, Rae, Chloe, Klub. Like Krispy Kremes is KK, we decided to do KK. Anyways, we all really like choir a lot and love to go to the concerts and sing. My favorite Christmas songs that we are learning are "Jingle Bell Rock" and "Snowflakes falling." We are also learning "Believe" from the Polar Express. It is also my second year doing choir. It has been an excellent experience for me and am planning on doing it for the last time in 5th grade!

Birthday Blast!!

For my Grandpa Blatter's 80th birthday all Blatter's were invited to a luau It was a blast! We had a jar, where you put comments and things that you like about Glenn(my grandpa), and put it in the jar. There was supposed to end up being 80, but we didn't have enough people. I wrote that he is a great hugger, a good napper and a fantastic grandpa. For dessert there was the option of 12 or more pies and cakes,it was crazy good!! After that we opened presents, there was a theme of 80. Some of the gifts were 80 heads of wheat, 80 pieces of candy,80 prunes, and our gift was 80 silver dollars!! I had so much fun, unfortunately the day after the party we had to drive home 9 hours!!! Well, that's all I'd like to say!!!!!!! Except - Happy, Happy Birthday Grandpa Dear. I love you lots!

My favorite sport is Cross Country. I like Cross country because I like to do junior joggers at recess time. Once I'm on the course I start wildly sprinting ahead. I go so wild that I have to calmly slow down to a jog and catch my breath before I sprint ahead once more. I am going to do cross country in middle school and high school because I love running and it's my favorite sport!

In the summer my sister Erin went away to college. She's coming back for her break in 80 days. Can you image, I have to wait 80 whole days to see my Erin again. Every year my family gets 13 weeks at our beach house. So sometimes it works out that every other week somebody in my family gets to invite one of their friends to go to the beach house. This time it was Emily's turn. So she asked her friend, (Kim Murri). So this beach trip some of the pictures have Emily's friend in them.

Also this trip we tried out these things that are kinda like a bike. They have a leaning back seat, handles on either side of the seat, and pedals that you have to push forward instead of down. I have a couple pictures to show you what they look like.

Why I hate wasps!

On Thursday night I got stung by a wasp. It was on my forehead right above my right eye. Of course then all the liquids from the sting drained down to my eye and made my eye swell up on Friday morning. Then everybody was asking me questions about my swollen eye. The wasp nest is still in the basketball hoop at my house, so I may not be playing basketball for a while, or until the wasps are dead and the wasp's nest is completely crushed and gone!

Crazy Rollercoaster!

One day my sister Allison, and I were bored out of our minds. We went on to the computer and decided to play on the photo booth. Where we can take crazy pictures and videos and mess around with the background. At first Allison and I were taking a picture with every background possible. But then when we finished we were again impossibly bored and tired of laying around the house with nothing to do but to avoid my mom and her cleaning ways. Allison had a brilliant idea. We turned on the photo booth and got crazy.

Beach time

As most of you know my family reacently had a family vacation to the coast. We had loads of fun at the beach and as usual I was the one who slept on the cot in the master bedroom's closet. I like it because it is like my own little room. We bought a lantern and I would lay in bed and read at night.

On Wednesday we even had a fire down at the beach and roasted s'mores. Emily and Erin even took a bowl of cherries down to the fire and roasted the cherries then spit the pits into the fire. On Tuesday I think, or Monday or someday that week, cute little LuLu Belle, Holly and Ben came and visited us for a day. Ben helped us build a huge sandcastle. It had a moat and everything. It was fun to see Holly, Ben and Lulu. But then LuLu had to leave, sadly.

On the windiest day of the week, me, my mom, Erin, Emily and Allison went down to the beach with a huge drawsting kite bag, we flew two of the biggest kites we had. One of them, the slightly smaller one, would go up in a second, then would come down before you could even try to run over where it was and catch it. The other one was quite boring. You could push up, then it would just stay there and fly, it would stay still, it wouldn't even move if you yanked the string. It was being very stubborn.

Just about every day I rode my bike all the way down to the bay and back with Allison. One day we went down to the donut\icecream place and I got two glazed donuts. I only got glazed because they don't really have a good selection of donuts and I got two because I wanted to get one for my number one Buddy! (My dad!) We went to Bruce's candy kitchen another day, but I was only allowed to get a total of three things. So I got a cow tail, (chocolate cow tail to be exact, it sounds disgusting but is actually delicious) a bag of colored gummy clown fish and four whole sheets of candy buttons. And finished it all in propaly less than half an hour. Try to beat that.

Hawaii's picture update- aquarium turtles

When we went to the aquarium on Saturday May 2, 2009, there was everything cool that you would want to see at an aquarium. There were sting rays, sharks, turtles, jellyfish, all kinds of cool fish, an octopus, sea horses, a ton of types of crabs, sea cucumbers, sea urchins and basically anything you could think of. Happy late mother's day! I know I missed mother's day and did my Hawaii post late, and I know my fans have been checking and expecting something because I've gotten a lot of complaints. So here-...

We had a great mother's day at the Blatter's home. As usual we did our traditional picture with my mom, (or as some people call her, Lara)in our pretty church clothes. It was very fun and not only me, but all the Blatter girls want to share it with you and wish you a happy late mother's day!

Hawaii's picture update- boogie boarder non stop

Sorry I'm so late. I didn't no what to write. But I know now what to say. I thought it over a lot.

In Hawaii, where it's always Summer, I went to the beach across the street evey day. I went boogie boarding till I (literly,I mean it,LITERLY!!) got sand rashes around my privates,(front and back. You know like rug burns, except it's from sand rubbing there and it's rashes, not burns. It was awesome, even though it stung every time I put aloe vera gell on the rash spots.

Me and my sisters have started a company on Etsy. You'll have to ask Erin how to find it. We make rag quilts. We also have a blog about The Rag Team. I have three funny pictures to share. Oh, and we did cut the huge pants up and used them in one of our quilts. I consider this my new job, "ironing" because I get payed for every quilt we sell, I still have work though.

Spring break 2009

Last week me and my family went to Manzanita, Oregon. Although a lot of other people came too, like, Jenn and Jeff, Papa Lou and Grandma, Heather and Tom, Holly, Ben, and the most important and cutests of the gang, LuLu Belle and me!! It was a lot of fun. Especially for my mom, Erin, and Emily. They went to see Wicked on Wednesday. Emily and Erin even acted out the cover. It was really sad though because my dad had to go on Sunday, (we had gotten there on Friday, so he only stayed two days) because he had to go back to work on Monday. Unfortunately Holly, Ben, Heather, and Tom could only stay one day, so we didn't get a group picture with them.

Last Thursday I got in a big bike accident and got a mark-wicked scrapes. One is about 5 inches long and you can't feel it, it's smooth. One is a small circle that's oozing puss,and that one's smooth, too. The other one is plain and very bumpy. I showed just about all my friends my wicked scrapes. Now I'm showing all you. I don't have much to say to you, so I'm going to show you my pictures, now!

Hogle Zoo

On April 4, 2007, my family went to Hogle Zoo in Utah and had a bunch of fun there, especially with the cameras. It was mostly a huge park, that's why I don't get why it's called a Zoo and not a park. Weird huh? Also, did you know that I hatched from an egg, and I'm a chick? I also have a shell like a turtle. Isn't it amazing that I can be a chick and a turtle at the same time? I also have a picture of one of my family members, Erin the peacock! (just kidding!) I just fit into a fake plastic turtle shell and look like a turtle. Another picture is an open egg that's fake, that I climbed into. Then, I have a picture of a peacock.

Movie Review

Beverly Hills Chihuahua-

This is an AWESOME movie! This you have to be a deep deep deep REALLY SUPER deep animal lover. This is all about the dog this time, so you have to focus on the dogs, ALL THE DOGS! So, again, if you can't watch a movie that focuses ONLY on the dogs, then don't watch this movie. (Happy part- It ends out happy!!! Ya!!!)

Madagascar 2 Escape to Africa-

This a wild adventure with our old friends the animals of Madagascar, and, the king of New York(Alex or Alecay.) I think this one is WAY better than the first one and think they should continue the Madagascar movie series, and DO NOT think they should make it into a book, or worse, a book series. I would only suggest this to animal-lovers, and people with a sense of humor!

Igor-

Igor is a very good movie, one that does not leave you hanging, is full of fun, adventure, and love. It ends happily ever after for the good side, and evil, is ending not as happy at all as the good side! (But we like it that way!) I would suggest this movie (Igor) to all!!

Counter buddies

My dad had to drill a hole in the counter when we put another door on the other side of the counter. So we had to empty out the counter. So the girls had M.O.B.S meetings (Meeting of Blatter sisters, M-O-B-S)in there had alone time in there, even some time with Abby in there! And that's what this is on, ABBY!!!!
